Amanda & Duncan - Family Session

The family were a joy to photograph. Dani loved pulling silly poses and faces at the camera. She made me laugh the whole time and was a fantastic helper.

Fisher Family

I was approached by Lana's Aunt to take photographers for her 21st Birthday. The family had rented a cottage nearby that had a garden with the most amazing view of Bennachie!

The family were fantastic and had such a giggle. One of the favourite parts of my job is meeting new people.

I hope you all love the images.

Gorgeous Maternity Session

A gorgeous Maternity Session I photographed with a lovely family. It was threatening to rain but it managed to hold off, just!

The following images are my three favourites from the session at Balmedie Beach.

Can't wait to do some more maternity sessions once the weather is a bit warmer!

A Gorgeous Family

It was an absolute pleasure photographing this family in August. Little Sam loved the camera and was the cutest little guy. The images were shot at Castle Fraser Gardens. These images really capture the true happiness of family life.

A Lovely Family

Due to being really busy with started a new job I have fallen behind with my blog. However, I aim to catch up within the next couple of weeks.

This session was done at Castle Fraser in July. The family were beautiful and this little man was just adorable! The gardens are a beautiful place to shoot and the family made it easy to get some fantastic shots.

A Wedding Invitation

Here is something I would love to share with you all. A few months ago a friend asked me to take images of her and her fiancĂ© for wedding invitations. They wanted the images laid out to look like a photo booth strip.

Here are some of the images from the session.

I am so happy with the images and I feel that they truly show how great these two are together!

Rachel sent me one of her invitations a few weeks later. I think they look absolutely fab! The photo booth strip is so effective! (Please note, only the photo booth strip is my work.)

Anna & Peters Wedding

Anna approached me to photograph her big day not long before the set date. It was a bit of a rush but we did it and got some fantastic images. This is the first wedding I have photographed and I hope to do so much more. Everyone looked fantastic and I enjoyed every minute of it! I would love the opportunity to do more weddings and hand people lovely images that they can look back on for years to come. I love the images and I hope Anna & Peter feel the same. xx

Oscar

This is one of my favourite shoots. Oscar was so much fun and SO energetic. Mum, Kerry chose Castle Fraser Gardens for the session, as it is a special place for the family.

Oscar knew the gardens so well and knew all of the secret little pathways. I spent a lot of time running around after him with my camera. He was incredibly curious and had a great imagination. I had lots and lots of fun.

Here are a few of my favourite images.

A Graduation

Naomi kindly approached me to do her Graduation photographs this year. Although, I had never done a Graduation shoot before I was so excited. It would be something different to try.  The shoot went well and I got some good shots. Good weather seems to be in my favour quite a lot these past few shoots. I hope this keeps up. Here are a few images from the day.

Turkey - Holiday

I travelled to Olu Deniz, Turkey in June to have a relaxing holiday. I have visited here many times before. The resort was SO beautiful, as always. The surroundings make you relax instantly and the sunset is to die for. I've never been in June before and it was SO hot! I didn't manage to go for too long of a wander with my camera but here are a few images from my trip.

Little Eva - Competition Winner

A little while ago I had a giveaway on my Facebook page for a chance to win a shoot. Gemma was the lucky winner and wanted photos of her little daughter Eva.

It was a gorgeous hot day and we got some great snaps.

Need to catch up...

I have been so busy lately that I have really neglected by blog. Over the next couple of days I hope to catch up and let you all know what I've been up to over the last few weeks.

My nephew just recently turned 1 and my sister asked me if I would take some images. We shared some ideas and eventually came down to doing a hot air balloon themed shoot as well as a cake smash. I loved this shoot and got some great images out of it. Here are a few...

The setting had a magical feel to it and little Mylo LOVED it!

Engagement Shoot

Hello!

Firstly, I would like to apologise for my lack of blogging over the last few months. I am coming to the end of my HND Photography course so as you can imagine there is a lot to do. I have a massive to do list to work through. But, I took some time off a few evenings ago to photograph a lovely couple.

I really want to share this fabulous engagement shoot. The couple are friends of mine so it was great to create these images that I feel capture their love.

Exciting New Things

Hello,

Sorry I haven't written in a while, I have had a lot of exciting things happening over the past two weeks.

I have just recently applied for NEOS (North East Open Studios.) NEOS brings North East artists, crafters and galleries together. This is something I have wanted to be part of for a few years and I feel that I am now at the stage where I can take part. If you haven't already, please check out their website. They are a great organisation. The event will take place over three weeks in September from the 7th to the 29th. My work will be displayed in the gorgeous Timeless. Why not come along, have a cuppa' and have a look at some of my work.

To add to all the excitement I have just received my new logo design. Thanks to Little Joy Designs. I am so happy with it and couldn't say thank you enough. Please have a look at her work, she is super fab!

I had a meeting with Touched by Scotland this week. Keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of months and you might see some of my work cropping up there.

Exciting Things

I have been incredibly busy again today. I have been in contact with a fab company that are going to create a new logo for me. She is incredibly talented and I can't wait to see what she comes up with! I also can't wait to share it with you!

I have also been getting ready for the up and coming craft fairs. Hopefully, I will get to pick up my frames and mounts tomorrow. I can't wait to see them and most importantly share them with you.

Experimenting with packaging

This is just a quick post tonight before bed. I've been really busy again today getting everything organised for the next few months.

I spent time this afternoon experimenting with packaging whilst making up an order. I made some lovely stickers with my logo. I am really happy with them. I would love some feedback so let me know what you think.

I went to a great frame shop today to discuss getting my work professionally mounted and framed. I am really excited to see my work in their frames and mounts. They are going to look absolutely fab!

Better go get some rest now. Keep posted for more news over the next couple of weeks.

Busy Bee

I have just recently set up my own business and I wanted to have a way of letting everyone know what I was up to.

I have been incredibly busy this week! I have gained a place at March Hare Craft & Vintage Market (27th of April) and Aberdeen Ministry of Crafts (6th of April.) Please check out these pages and support our local crafters. It has been my aim to get into a craft fair this year. Let alone getting into two! I love being able to share my work with a wide range of people. So, over the next few weeks I am going to be super busy getting everything organised.

Thank you for all your support so far and please continue to like and share my images/page with all your friends and family.

I better get back to some work!
